Jerwood Sculpture at Ragley

The creation of a collection of 20th and 21st Century sculpture is a major initiative of the Jerwood Foundation and an important part of our wide-ranging support of the visual arts.

From its beginning in 1999, the aim of Jerwood Sculpture has been to display large sculptures in the natural environment. Since 2004, Jerwood Sculpture has been sited in the magnificent grounds and park of Ragley in Warwickshire, home of the Marquess and Marchioness of Hertford. The collection is set out along a two mile Sculpture Trail.

Alongside works by artists of international reputation such as Dame Elisabeth Frink R.A., Lynn Chadwick R.A., Kenneth Armitage R.A., Michael Ayrton and Antony Gormley R.A., the Jerwood Sculpture collection includes works by important international sculptors and by emerging artists who have won the Jerwood Sculpture Prize.

It is a priority of the Foundation to develop the collection by purchasing and commissioning new works to be placed at Ragley.
